Dr. Winterberg is a commission agent. The auctions contain paintings, drawings, graphic prints, illustrated books and scultpures of the 15th-21st century.
The methodically researched and illustrated catalogues are written by Dr. Thilo Winterberg and a team of well versed experts in conjunction with a reference library containing nearly 16.000 books. Every lot in the catalogue is checked up on authenticity and technique.
The prices in the catalogues are estimation prices. The minimum bid has to be at least 2/3 of this estimation.
All lots are illustrated in colour in our catalogues. To order some more photos, please use our form.
Usually the buyer pays a premium of 33% (Margin scheme; tax not shown separately). In a few cases (lots with R after lot number) only Standard Tax Treatment (24% buyers premium; additional 19% tax on the sum of hammerprice and buyers premium) is possible.
Bidding online by Invaluable/lot-tissimo (including their partners the-saleroom.com/auction.fr): additional 3% live fee on buyers premium.

From every Tuesday after the auction on the lists of results and unsold lots are available at our homepage.
After the auction, all unsold lots are up for sale in Heidelberg for the same conditions as at the auction itself for about four weeks.
Pickup of sold lots
Pick up your buy in Heidelberg whilst our office hours. It is also possible to pick up your purchase in Munich or Frankfurt/M. after fixing an appointment.
We can send your purchase to you by Deutsche Post/DHL. The shipping and handling is at the expense of the buyer. Read more about the shipping...
